Hello everyone! This week I’m sharing what I purchased from this years’ Kylie Cosmetics Birthday collection. I had planned to post this last week but I placed two separate orders and one of the orders didn’t come in time. So I pushed it to this week! 😜 This years’ collection didn’t wow me like last years’ did. It reminded me a lot of the Valentines Day collection from earlier this year so I wasn’t really drawn to many items. My favorite item from the collection was the bedazzled Candy K matte liquid lipstick but I couldn’t justify spending $60 on a lipstick that didn’t even come with a liner. Here’s what…

Bésame Cosmetics Snow White Eye Shadow Palette Review
Hello everyone! This week I’m sharing one of the purchases I made at D23 Expo 2017. This year, Bésame Cosmetics had a booth in the expo hall and I was super excited to see a beauty brand at a Disney expo! I’ve wanted to try makeup from this brand for a while and I’m glad I had the chance to see the products in person at the expo. The main reason they were at the expo is to advertise their collaboration with Disney! They will be releasing a Snow White collection of products in September and I can’t wait to get my hands on other items from this collection! At…

Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Palette Review
Hello everyone! This week we’ll be talking about the new Morphe collaboration palette with Jaclyn Hill. With a restock coming this month, I thought it’d be the perfect time to review it. First, I need to apologize for the lighting in the pictures. I thought I had figured out a good place to take pictures. I found a great place to take pictures but it was too early in the morning so they turned out darker than I’d prefer. With that out of the way, let’s jump into the review! I purchased my palette during the first release of the palette so I’ve had some time to play around with it…

BECCA x Chrissy Teigen Glow Face Palette Review
Hello everyone! As promised in my Birthday Haul post, this week I’m bringing you a review of one of the products from that haul! I’ve decided to start with the BECCA x Chrissy Teigen Glow Face Palette because it’s summertime, the season to glow! Plus, ever since I first found out about this collaboration, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. Here’s a little background information on the palette. It costs $46 and is marketed as $76 worth of product, which seems like a pretty great deal to me! It includes 4 shades: 2 Shimmering Skin Perfectors in Rose Gold and Beach Nectar A Luminous Blush in Hibiscus Bloom A…

The Sunshine Blogger Award
Hello everyone! I’ve been nominated for The Sunshine Blogger Award! Thank you so much Ashlee Nicole! I actually started my blog during a WordPress tutorial in one of my college classes. I was taking a social media marketing course and the professor brought someone in to explain the basics of how to use WordPress. At the time, I had no intention of starting a blog but as time went on, I figured it would give me something to do post-grad to take breaks from job searching. In the beginning, I didn’t know what I wanted to blog about and posted very irregularly about random things I attended or photographed. Since…

e.l.f. Aqua Beauty Molten Liquid Eyeshadow Review
Hello everyone! I’ve been eyeing these liquid shadows for a while now. Since many drugstore brands are really stepping up their product game, I decided to purchase a couple shades. There are 6 shades in the e.l.f. Aqua Beauty Molten Liquid Eyeshadow collection, which includes: Brushed Copper, Cool Steel, Liquid Gold, Molten Bronze, Mocha Metal, and Rose Gold. They retail for $4 each and I purchased Brushed Copper and Rose Gold from my local Target. The e.l.f. website describes this product as follows: Wash this hydrating liquid eyeshadow over lids for a vibrant, metallic look (and an irresistible cooling effect). The formula is infused with Purified Water and Vitamin E to help hydrate.…

5 Fave Summer Lippies
Hello everyone! In celebration of National Kissing Day (July 6th), I’ve decided to share 5 of the lippies I’ve been loving this summer on my blog this week. I’m really loving easy, “My Lips But Better” colors this summer. My perfect lipsticks are ones that I don’t have to worry about touching up a million times or might move around my face. Also, please excuse the strange lighting in some of the photos. Since the move, I’m still figuring out the perfect place to take pics with natural lighting. In the picture below, I’ve swatched each lip color so you can get an idea of the tones and texture of each…

June 2017 Life Update
Hello everyone! After taking an unexpected 2-week break, I’m back! Following my birthday haul post, I got busier than expected. I was still continuously unpacking from the move while shopping and packing for a trip to Washington D.C. I just got back from that week-long trip and I can’t wait to get back into reviewing some of the products I got for my birthday as well as some new things I’ve picked up over the last couple weeks! Ever since my and my sister’s 8th-grade classes took trips to Washington D.C., we’ve wanted to go back to explore this beautiful, historical city. Since I have a friend who lives near the…

Birthday Haul 2017
Hello everyone! This past week I celebrated my 24th birthday so I’m keeping this week’s post on the shorter side. This year I kept the celebration pretty casual. My family and I went out to Boudin SF for lunch and had an impromptu photo shoot with the flowers at the mall where the restaurant is. Then later in the day we made a yummy homecooked dinner, saw Wonder Woman, and ended the day with a strawberry champagne cake from Whole Foods (which was delicious!). In today’s post, I’ll be sharing what I received on my birthday. Since I moved, I’ve had a hard time keeping up with blog posts so, thankfully…
