• Lunar Beauty Life’s a Drag Eye Shadow Palette Review

Hello everyone! Let me just start by stating the obvious, there have been a lot of new eye shadow palette releases which is why the last few posts have been about those palettes. Additionally, in case you haven’t noticed in my last few posts, I do currently have eyelash extensions on so I won’t be testing any mascaras in the near future. I’m hoping to branch out to some other new products soon but until then, I have one more eye shadow palette review. Today, I’m sharing my thoughts on the new Lunar Beauty Life’s a Drag eye shadow palette which was created by Beauty YouTuber, Manny MUA. This 14…

  • Laura Lee Los Angeles Nudie Patootie Collection Review

Hello everyone! I’m super excited about this colleciton review! I’m loving that some of my favorite beauty YouTubers are starting to create their own products! I mean, they reivew cosmetics for a living so who better to create the best products! This week I’m reivewing the Laura Lee Los Angeles Nudie Patootie Collection. This collection includes her second eye shadow palette and three matte liquid lipsticks which are vegan and cruelty free. I love her first pallete, Cat’s Pajamas, so I knew I had to get this one when it was released. As for the lipsticks, I’m very particular about matte liquid lipsticks because I hate when they dry out…

  • Too Faced Chocolate Gold Palette Review

Hello everyone! Today I’m sharing one of my all-time favorite eye shadow palettes, the Too Faced Chocolate Gold palette. It never really got much hype, even during it’s release. It has some of the best metallic shadows I’ve ever tried! I’m actually quite surprised that it hasn’t gotten much hype. If you couldn’t already tell, I kinda love the palette. So let’s jump into the swatches and how the other shadows preformed. According to the Too Faced website: Take decadence to the next level with a luxurious gold and cocoa powder-infused eye shadow palette that smells as good as it looks. Have a major metallic moment with foiled shadows that…

  • MAC x Patrickstarrr Floral Realness Collection Review

Hello everyone! Today I’ll be reviewing the Spring MAC Cosmetics x Patrickstarrr Floral Realness Collection! I decided to purchase the Me So Chic kit because I work in a pretty traditional office setting so I like to keep things on the more neutral side. The Me So Chic kit is perfect for adding a pop of color while still having the option to create neutral looks. The kit retails for $49.50 + tax and includes $97 worth of product. On the MAC website, the collection is described as: PATRICKSTARRR is back to make your beauty dreams blossom with his new floral inspired M·A·C full face kits. This collection is all you…

  • Belif Pore Cleaner Bubble Foam Review

Hello everyone! I’m back and I can’t believe how fast the last 4 months went by! Let’s start with a little life update before jumping into the review. You may have noticed some things have changed around here. In the last 4 months, I’ve been working behind the scenes to update the back end of my blog for much smoother upkeep and the front end for a site that better represents who I am and what I’m loving in 2018. Let me know what you think! Last year, I decided to take a break and not post during the first couple weeks of June. This year I figured, what better…

  • Beautylish Lucky Bag 2018

Hello everyone! Today I’m sharing what I got in the Beautylish Lucky Bag I was able to get this year! I first heard about this item from Bunny (Grav3yardgirl) when she shared her 2017 Lucky Bag. I was immediately intrigued and knew I had to get one in 2018 if I could. However, I actually ended up forgetting about it and later in the year signed up for the Beautylish email list to track other product launches. Fortunately I did because December came around and I got a few emails about the 2018 Lucky Bag which reminded me of the awesome opportunity! I placed my order on December 26th with the hopes of…

  • IMATS LA 2018 Haul

Hello everyone! Last weekend I attended IMATS in Pasadena, CA with my sister and best friend. This was my third time attending and it is always so much fun! If you haven’t heard of this convention, IMATS stands for International Makeup Artist Trade Show. For a small ticket fee, you get access to a whole convention center full of discounted makeup, a magical place for any makeup lover! Because I spent my weekend away and wasn’t able to work on a more involved post, this week I’ll be sharing what I purchased while at the convention. Let’s jump in! The first thing everyone who attended got was a free sample size lippie…

  • Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara Review

Hello everyone! Today I’m reviewing the new Maybelline Total Temptation Mascara. This mascara was released at the end of last year but I didn’t see it in my local CVS until late December/ early January, which is where I purchased it. This mascara reminds me of the L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara. The wand is very fluffy and is marketed to add volume to the lashes. As I said earlier, I purchased this mascara at CVS for $9.49. My local CVS carried 3 shades – Brownish Black, Very Black, and Blackest Black. I purchased the shade Blackest Black to achieve the most drama. According to the Maybelline website: Total Temptation™ Washable…

  • 2017 Beauty Favorites

Hello everyone! Like many say at the start of a new year, I can’t believe another year has passed! One year ago this month, I started blogging on a more serious level and my goal for the year was to post at least once a week. I’m extremely proud to say that I almost did so, only missing a 2 or 3 weeks scattered throughout the year. This year I hope to do the same but really step up my content and maybe update my blog’s theme. However, let’s get onto the real topic of today’s post. I’m going to welcome 2018 by going over my favorite beauty products from…

  • Maybelline x Gigi Hadid Review

Hello everyone! Today I’ll be sharing my thoughts on the new Maybelline x Gigi Hadid collection. Since I was a little late to purchase the collection, not everything was in stock but I was still able to purchase the items I wanted from both the east and west coast collections. On the Maybelline website, this collection is described as follows: From her home base in NYC to her hometown in LA, the design and details of these three Maybelline makeup collections reveal the story of Gigi Hadid’s life as she sees it, one shade name at a time. I tried not to watch or read any reviews of the collection…
