Lunar Beauty Life’s a Drag Eye Shadow Palette Review

Hello everyone!

Let me just start by stating the obvious, there have been a lot of new eye shadow palette releases which is why the last few posts have been about those palettes. Additionally, in case you haven’t noticed in my last few posts, I do currently have eyelash extensions on so I won’t be testing any mascaras in the near future. I’m hoping to branch out to some other new products soon but until then, I have one more eye shadow palette review.

Today, I’m sharing my thoughts on the new Lunar Beauty Life’s a Drag eye shadow palette which was created by Beauty YouTuber, Manny MUA. This 14 pan eye shadow palette retails for $45. According to the Lunar Beauty Website:

Feel the fantasy come alive in this fierce and fabulous 14 pan palette. This cruelty-free, playful palette contains all the perfect shades which holds effortlessly to the eyes and blends smoothly and evenly. These shades may not be suitable for direct eye use.

This palette is a perfect mix of neutral and bright shadows! The compnent isn’t too big so you can still easily travel with it. As much as I love natrual looks that I can easily wear in the office, I’m excited to be able to play with color for weekends or a night out. All the matte shades are buttery, very easy to blend, and I think they have the perfect amount of pigmentation. There are also 2 shimmer shades which I recommend to be applied with a finger. They are so beautiful and they don’t really need to be applied wet! Although you could apply them wet for an extra boost of metallic shimmer. Lastly, I did notice a small amount of fallout with the darkest, neutral shades but it could easily by swiped away with a little setting powder and a brush.

The palette also comes with a dual ended brush. One end is a flat shader brush and the other is a fluffy creas brush. Both are pretty soft and work as well as any other brush I own. I did notice that this brush is much better than any other in-palette brushes I’ve ever recieved.

Overall, I think this palette is definitely worth the price. If you are looking for a palette with color, this palette is for you.

Have you had the chance to try this palette yet? If not, what is your favorite colorful palette? Let me know in the comments.

Until next time,
