Ulta Haul – 21 Days of Beauty 2017

From the middle of March to the beginning of April, Ulta held it’s 21 Days of Beauty where each day three or so products are marked down by up to 50%! After checking the calendar on the website, I determined there were two days I wanted to order on. The first day had the It Cosmetics Naturally Pretty palette and the Dr. Brandt Pores No More Primer for half off! These two products are normally over $40 each so I couldn’t pass up on the opportunity to get them for about $20 each.

On the second day, the Urban Decay Perversion Mascara was also half off bringing down the cost of the full-size tube to $11. I recently reviewed a sample size of this mascara. In case you missed it, you can read about it here. After reviewing this mascara, it became one of my new favorites.

It’s taken a minute to get to hauling these purchases but better late than never!

With that being said, let’s jump into the haul!

Lately, I’ve been into using more cream/ stick products in my face makeup routine. For the warm springtime weather, it’s much easier for me to put a light base down then go in with cream contour and cream blush and top everything with a translucent setting powder. Since I already had a stick contour and blush, I wanted to try out a stick highlighter to complete my routine. You may remember this from last weeks post where I featured it in my April Faves. It’s the perfect shade for my skin tone and provides the perfect naturally glowy look.

A while ago I received a deluxe sample of this product in an order from Sephora and instantly fell in love. When I finished the sample, I just couldn’t justify spending $42 on a primer at the time so I kept using others and waited to see if it went on sale at either Ulta or Sephora. Fast forward about a year later, I was able to catch this half-off deal because I looked at the calendar before the day this product was on passed. I’m so happy to finally have the full size of this product and have been loving using it again!

Like I said at the beginning of this post, I tried a sample of this mascara to review on my blog. Since I fell in love the moment I applied the first coat, I knew I needed the full size, regardless if it was on sale or not. It was just a happy coincidence that it happened to be in the 21 Days of Beauty right after I reviewed it.

Last but not least, I purchased the It Cosmetics Naturally Pretty eyeshadow palette. 14 of the 15 shadows are matte and the 15th shade works to turn any of the other matte shades into a shimmery, satiny shadow. I first learned about this product when I worked at Ulta. After listening to a demo of different It Cosmetics products, I was very impressed with this product and new I had to get it someday soon. Well, that was back in September and since I had collected quite a few eyeshadow palettes, I decided to wait for a sale. I’m loving it so far because the shadows are so smooth and buttery and they blend beautifully!

And just like that, that’s the end of my haul. I hope you enjoyed reading about the items I recently picked up from Ulta!

Until next time,
