Jeffree Star x Manny MUA Collection Review

When this collaboration was first announced, I was so excited and couldn’t wait to get my hands on these products! I love the Velour Liquid Lipsticks and the colors in this collection are absolutely beautiful! I was also excited to finally try the skin frost highlighters since I hadn’t had the chance to purchase one yet. I loved that this collection came as a set in addition to individual items.

I was able to purchase the set of all three items, which included two Velour Liquid Lipsticks and one Skin Frost. The lipstick shades are Daddy and I’m Shook and the Skin Frost shade is Eclipse.

These products are just as amazing and pigmented as they look in pictures. In making the swatches below, I only needed one coat of the lipsticks to get an opaque swatch! As for the highlighter, I found that the swatch worked better with a brush than with my finger so that’s how I made that one.

I really enjoy how these shades compliment my skin tone! I absolutely love the liquid lipstick formula because it lasts so long without sucking every drop of moisture from my lips like some other brands.

As for the highlighter, the first time I applied it I was slightly underwhelmed. In YouTube videos, they always come out intensely blinding and mine was not that at all. But then I remembered how terrible the lighting around my vanity is and compared it to the natural light from my window and it really is blinding! I love the results and think it’s definitely worth it! I also couldn’t believe the pan size! I knew that it was much larger than other powder products but I was still surprised when I opened the box.
