It’s time for another Fascination File! This week, I’m sharing my the top 5 items on my High-End Skincare Wishlist. This time, I’ve decided to order them from least expensive to most expensive. Additionally, I found all of these products on Nordstrom.com so any of the quotes/ claims are from there. Now, let’s jump right in!
- SK-II Facial Treatment Essence
I first learned about this product from Kristina Braly, formerly known on youtube as Pretty Shiny Sparkly. I feel I have a similar skin type to Kristina and after hearing her rave about this product and seeing how much it helped her skin, I would love to try it out! This product claims:
“SK-II Facial Treatment Essence helps improve the appearance of the five dimensions of beautiful, crystal clear skin—reducing spots and the appearance of wrinkles, improving skin texture and firmness and elevating radiance. Essences impart nutrients, vitamins, antioxidants and minerals into your skin to help skin better absorb your serum and moisturizer.”
At this stage in my life, the acne has subsided and I’ve been left with quite a bit of acne scarring. I was able to reduce it over the past few years but I’ve seemed to hit a plateau. So I think this product would greatly help heal the areas of my skin that still has a bit of acne scarring.
- Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mud Mask
I first discovered this brand from someone on youtube who was talking about the Queen of Hungary Mist. That sounds like it’s a nice toner but I wanted to know what else this brand had to offer. After some research, I found the next two products.
The first is this deep cleansing mask. As someone who suffers from oily, acne-prone skin, I love trying deep cleansing masks especially if they are made with clay or mud. This product claims:
“Deep Cleansing Mask is an award-winning formula by Omorovicza rich in calcium and magnesium that clears congested pores and brightens skin tone as it draws out impurities. Hungarian moor mud deeply cleanses and nourishes; white clay draws out toxins, impurities and natural pore-clogging oils; and a Hydro Mineral Transference delivers minerals deep into skin, firming it and leaving it with a more youthful appearance.”
This sounds like it would be the perfect product to help my skin and keep the acne at bay. I pretty much love any product that will keep my pores clean and brighten my complexion for that healthy glow everyone is after.
- Omorovicza Reviving Eye Cream
The other product I found from the Omorovicza line is the Reviving Eye Cream. As someone in my early 20’s, I’m not looking to reverse any signs of aging but I am starting to add some products that will help me age more gracefully. This product claims:
“Omorovicza Reviving Eye Cream’s texture is silky-smooth and its formula provides long-lasting hydration, while a subtle scent of cucumber refreshes and soothes tired eyes. It also plumps and firms to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.”
Since I’m 23, I don’t get much sleep so diminishing puffiness and dark circles while smoothing out early signs of aging this eye cream sounds perfect for my current skin situation.
- La Mer ‘The Oil Absorbing Lotion’ Oil-Free Lotion
This brand has to be one of the most well-known high-end skincare brands out there. I love learning about the products and reading product reviews. This product specifically would be great for my oily-combination skin and would add the perfect amount of hydration. The claim behind this product states:
“Tailored to the needs of normal to oily skin, La Mer The Oil Absorbing Lotion is an oil-free formula infused with a potent concentration of the nutrient-rich Miracle Broth™, the heart of La Mer’s profound powers of transformation. It delivers the same radiance, renewal and suppleness that made the original Crème de la Mer a legend and leaves a soft matte finish. It’s ideal for warm-weather climates.”
This lightweight moisturizer would probably do wonders for my skin. I’m always willing to try oil-absorbing products to try to keep my t-zone in check.
- La Mer ‘The Regenerating Serum’
This is another product that I think will help with what’s left of my acne scarring in addition to acting to help prevent signs of aging. It claims:
“La Mer The Regenerating Serum is a powerful age-fighter that accelerates your skin’s natural renewal process to visibly diminish lines and wrinkles. With the nutrient-rich Miracle Broth™, the heart of La Mer’s profound powers of transformation, your skin is refined and rejuvenated for a firmer, younger-looking complexion. The potent serum is also powered by the Regenerating Ferment™, which help skin trigger its natural production of collagen, elastin and other youth proteins. Your skin looks revitalized on contact and, over time, the appearance of lines, wrinkles and pores is dramatically diminished.”
This product pretty much sums up most of the concerns I see on my skin. As I stated earlier, I have oily-combination skin, with acne scarring on my cheeks and larger pores on and around my nose and chin. From what I’ve read about this product, it sounds like it will help me with all these concerns and hope to try this out someday soon.
I hope you enjoyed reading about the High-End Skincare Edition of my Fascination File!
