• 2017 Beauty Favorites

Hello everyone! Like many say at the start of a new year, I can’t believe another year has passed! One year ago this month, I started blogging on a more serious level and my goal for the year was to post at least once a week. I’m extremely proud to say that I almost did so, only missing a 2 or 3 weeks scattered throughout the year. This year I hope to do the same but really step up my content and maybe update my blog’s theme. However, let’s get onto the real topic of today’s post. I’m going to welcome 2018 by going over my favorite beauty products from…

  • 5-Star Products Under $10 at Ulta

Hello everyone! Today I have an Ulta haul/ first impressions! I challenged myself to find 5 star rated products under $5. This proved more challenging than I thought it would be but I ended up with 4 products under $5 and one product under $10. I couldn’t find a mascara $5 or under with a 5-star rating so that’s why this blog post is titled “5-Star Products Under $10 at Ulta.” 😜 Also, as a reminder, ratings are forever fluctuating. These items were are 5-star products when I purchased them but they could have changed slightly since then. Now let’s jump-in to my haul/ first impressions! The first thing I found…

  • Kylie Cosmetics Purple Palette vs. Wet N Wild Petal Pusher Palette

Hello everyone! This week I’m comparing the Kylie Cosmetics Kyshadow Purple Palette and the Wet N Wild Petal Pusher Palette. After I ordered my Kyshadow Palette, I was in CVS and saw the Wet N Wild palette. I thought, Omg! Some of those shades look really similar to the Kylie Purple Palette!” To be clear, I’ll only be comparing some of the shade I thought looked similar to test whether or not they are dupes. I can do a full review of these palettes if you are curious, let me know! 😊 The Wet N Wild palette is an all shimmer palette, meaning none of the shades are matte. The Kylie palette, on the…

  • April Faves

It’s that time of the month again, time for monthly favorites! I’m currently in the middle of packing to move from Southern California to Northern California so I haven’t been shopping for many new products because I don’t want to have to pack them when I leave. Although I haven’t purchased many products, I was able to “shop” through my current makeup collection and rediscovered some amazing products! This list is in no specific order so let’s jump right in! The first product is the NYX Strobe of Genius Illuminating Palette. I bought this at IMATS LA 2017 because I wanted to try different colored highlighters without breaking the bank. However,…

  • March Faves

Like most people are saying, I can not believe it’s already April. At the end of last year, I had a life-changing realization that as I get older, time seems to pass so much faster. As a kid, I remember waiting and waiting and waiting for Christmas or my birthday to come each year and it felt like I was waiting forever! Now I’m surprised by the arrival by those days. Moving past that, this week I’m sharing my March Faves! I have a few new products as well as products I rediscovered this month so let’s jump right in!   Rimmel Stay Matte Makeup Primer Earlier in the month,…

  • Wet n Wild Review

For this week’s post, I’ll be reviewing a few Wet n Wild products. I haven’t purchased anything from this brand in the past because I’d never really heard anything about it. Last month, Wet n Wild released its Photo Focus line. I’ve heard nothing but great things about the foundation and pressed powder so I went to my local CVS and purchased them. Since I’ve heard mixed reviews about the concealer, I decided to wait on that one for now. It was extremely easy to find my foundation shade because the display features the name of the shade in addition to a description. For example, I got the shade Soft…
