• Colourpop Haul

Hello everyone! Today I’m sharing the items I picked up during the Colourpop Black Friday/ Cyber Monday sale. Prior to this order, I hadn’t tried anything from Colourpop. I’ve heard so many great things about the brand but I have a hard time convincing myself to blindly buy cosmetics online without seeing the product in person. Even though the brand has amazingly low prices, I decided to purchase one palette on sale in addition to the entire Colourpop x Laura Lee x No Kill Los Angeles (NKLA) collection. I’m a huge animal lover and spent a lot of time in high school volunteering at my local animal shelter so when…

  • Covergirl Peacock Flare Mascara Review

Hello everyone! Happy December! I can’t believe it’s the holiday season already. Freeform’s 25 Days of Christmas has begun and the hustle and bustle of holiday shopping continues. Thankfully, I’ve completed all of my holiday shopping and I’m so glad I don’t have to deal with the crowds of shoppers! Today, I’m sharing my thoughts on the new Covergirl Peacock Flare Mascara. In my opinion, the newer Covergirl mascaras haven’t been that impressive. I feel like they keep releasing mascaras with crazy looking applicator wands that make applying mascara more difficult. For instance, the Total Tease Mascara, which I reviewed here, makes sense in theory but when it came time…

  • Top 3 Dry Shampoos

Hello everyone! I hope everyone had a Happy Thanksgiving and saved a ton this Black Friday. In order to celebrate the holidays and spend time with my family, I postponed this blog post a few days. This week I’m sharing my all-time favorite dry shampoos and they each serve a different purpose in my routine. The first, which is my number 1 favorite dry shampoo of all time, is the IGK Jet Lag Dry Shampoo. It retails for $29 for a 6.3oz can and $14 for the 1.25oz can. According to the Sephora website: You want your hair to stand out, not your styling products, and this truly invisible,…

  • 5-Star Products Under $10 at Ulta

Hello everyone! Today I have an Ulta haul/ first impressions! I challenged myself to find 5 star rated products under $5. This proved more challenging than I thought it would be but I ended up with 4 products under $5 and one product under $10. I couldn’t find a mascara $5 or under with a 5-star rating so that’s why this blog post is titled “5-Star Products Under $10 at Ulta.” 😜 Also, as a reminder, ratings are forever fluctuating. These items were are 5-star products when I purchased them but they could have changed slightly since then. Now let’s jump-in to my haul/ first impressions! The first thing I found…

  • Kylie Cosmetics Purple Palette vs. Wet N Wild Petal Pusher Palette

Hello everyone! This week I’m comparing the Kylie Cosmetics Kyshadow Purple Palette and the Wet N Wild Petal Pusher Palette. After I ordered my Kyshadow Palette, I was in CVS and saw the Wet N Wild palette. I thought, Omg! Some of those shades look really similar to the Kylie Purple Palette!” To be clear, I’ll only be comparing some of the shade I thought looked similar to test whether or not they are dupes. I can do a full review of these palettes if you are curious, let me know! 😊 The Wet N Wild palette is an all shimmer palette, meaning none of the shades are matte. The Kylie palette, on the…

  • Sephora Haul

Hello everyone! This week I have a Sephora Haul for you! Please excuse the terrible photo lighting. I didn’t account for the lighting changes that occur just before Daylight Savings Times. Needless to say, I’ll probably need to invest in some good lighting now that I don’t live in Orange County and there are actually seasons where I live. This is going to be a quick haul because the only things I purchased were the two editions of the PLAY! by Sephora The Beauty Remedy boxes. I’ve previously missed all the other luxury PLAY! boxes so when the had a presale for VIB Rouge members, I decided to get both options. Each version of the box came with 6 deluxe samples of luxury skincare and makeup products. Even…

  • Covergirl Total Tease Mascara Review

Hello everyone! This week I have another mascara review on the Covergirl Total Tease mascara! This mascara came out around the same time as the L’Oreal Lash Paradise mascara and because of that, I haven’t heard much about it. I’ve already reviewed the Lash Paradise and you can read my review here. This mascara retails for $8.99 at Ulta and comes in four shades (according to the Covergirl website). I purchased the Very Black shade from my local CVS. According to the Covergirl website, Full. Long. Refined. Sexy, teased lashes! Use the lash teasing mascara comb for ease and control to tease even the tiniest corner lashes for a full, voluminous…

  • Fave Fall 2017 Makeup Trends

Hello everyone! With the fall season in full swing, I wanted to share some of my favorite Fall 2017 Makeup Trends. Most of my research and information comes from this Good Housekeeping article. I found that this article actually lists the trends while other articles only list the looks each designer had on the runway. Without further ado, here’s my top 6 Fall 2017 Makeup Trends. Two Tone Lips: The bottom lip is subtly darker than the top lip. I just love how this looks. A while back, a more extreme version of this went viral but I couldn’t get behind it because it wasn’t practical for everyday life. The subtler…

  • Origins Original Skin Matte Moisturizer Review

Hello everyone! This week I’m reviewing the Origins Original Skin Matte Moisturizer. I received a full-size container of this product from Influenster, complimentary for testing. It also came with a trial size of the Origins Original Skin Renewal Serum and the Origins Original Skin Retexturing Mask. To get a true reading of these products, I’ve been using them for the past month. It takes about 3 weeks for your skin to adjust to new skincare products so I wanted to give these products a fair chance. This is how everything was packaged and sent to me: Let start out with the full-size product. The Original Skin Matte Moisturizer retails for $34 and…

  • Ulta’s Fall 21 Days of Beauty Haul

Hello everyone! Ulta recently held another 21 Days of Beauty event so of course I had to take advantage of the sale and try some new things as well as get refills of products I love but ran out of. So, this week I’m sharing what I picked up during this sale. I’m keeping this post laid back as well as short and sweet because it has just been one of those weeks. Let’s jump right into the haul! In my first order, I picked up the Nars Narsissist Cheek Studio Palette at 50% off the original price! As a long time lover of the Nars Orgasm blush, I’ve been wanting to…
