Arbonne Holiday Makeup Review

Hi everyone!

Today I’m reviewing two makeup products from the Arbonne 2017 Holiday collection. If you’re new to my blog or haven’t read my older posts, I’m actually an Arbonne Independent Consultant. I was introduced to this amazing company by a sorority sister while job searching after graduation. Arbonne International is a health and wellness company that is all natural, vegan, and follows European guidelines in product production.

When I was introduced, I had been doing research on the harmful chemicals in health and wellness products that are sold by well-known companies such as Maybelline, Pantene, and Garnier. Unlike companies in the U.S., Arbonne follows European guidelines, which means that there are about 1,400 ingredients that are banned from use in skincare and makeup products! Meanwhile, the U.S. only regulates/ bans around 14 ingredients.

I decided to become an Independent Consultant after learning about the company because I had been looking for natural alternatives to my staple products. One of my favorite products outside the makeup and skincare realm is the 7-day Body Cleanse! I love it because it helps detoxify your system and assists with gentle elimination of toxins. It also helps jumpstart healthy lifestyle choices. Last year I used it once at the beginning of the new year and once during summer time to help remind me to make healthier choices.

With the introduction out of the way, let’s jump into the review!

Starlight Glow Palette

So the first item is a face palette that includes a blush, bronzer, contour, and highlighter. The net weight of each product is 0.22oz. It retails for $75 but you can get it (and anything else sold on the site) at a discount by becoming a Preferred Client!

According to the Arbonne website,

These shades were plucked from the sky to deliver a celestial glow as if your cheeks were kissed by the stars themselves. These multi-use powders can be used to highlight, blush, bronze, or contour with an array of warm to cool pigments to sculpt and shape a starlit glow. Featuring three brand-new shades and guest starring our fan favorite Anniversary Bronzer.

I am in love with all four of these powders! They are buttery smooth, pigmented and they blend beautifully. I applied the shade Meteor in the hollows of my cheeks, Moonstone on the apples of my cheeks, and the Starlight on my cheekbones. The highlight formula is velvety and provides an amazing, luminous glow that can be worn sheer and natural or built up for a more dramatic look. I opted for the more dramatic look. The contour is the perfect shade for my skin tone, not too red or too grey. I had a hard time seeing the blush when I applied it at my vanity but in the pictures and in other mirrors, it definitely showed up. I didn’t get the chance to try the bronzer because it’s slightly shimmery and I like to save shimmery bronzers for spring and summertime.

Rosé All Day To Night Lip Set

The second item is a lip set that includes 3 matte liquid lipsticks and 3 lip glosses. The net weight for each product is 0.09 fl. oz. The set retails for $70 but you can also get it at a discount by becoming a Preferred Client!

According to the Arbonne website,

A trio of dual-ended lip colors in blushing nudes, pinks and mauves that keep you rocking that rosé all day and night. This lip bouquet features Arbonne’s new favorite matte lip cream on one end and a shiny lip gloss on the other. Wear alone or mix-and-match for a full bloom effect.

These matte liquid lipsticks wear very comfortably and don’t drain all the moisture from my lips. I’m wearing Azalea in the pic above. The matte lipsticks are super long wearing and the I love the shade range, dusty rose shades are my thing! Also, the set comes with two solid glosses and one glittery gloss, which are so buttery and give an amazing shine to any lip look!
