This week I have a Sephora Haul for you! Please excuse the terrible photo lighting. I didn’t account for the lighting changes that occur just before Daylight Savings Times. Needless to say, I’ll probably need to invest in some good lighting now that I don’t live in Orange County and there are actually seasons where I live.
This is going to be a quick haul because the only things I purchased were the two editions of the PLAY! by Sephora The Beauty Remedy boxes. I’ve previously missed all the other luxury PLAY! boxes so when the had a presale for VIB Rouge members, I decided to get both options.
Each version of the box came with 6 deluxe samples of luxury skincare and makeup products. Even though I can’t wait to try the products I received, I wasn’t expecting 4 of the 6 items to be the exact same in both boxes. The product description only listed the brands of the items included so it was a mystery as to what was actually coming in the boxes. When I ordered, I figured that the two edition would at least have completely different items. There are some things I’m happy to have 2 of but others were just unnecessary.
In total, these boxes came with the Giorgio Armani Ecstacy Shine Lipstick in 400, YSL Touche Éclat Blur Primer, Givenchy Le Rouge Perfecto Beautifying Lip Balm, Amorepacific Vintage Single Extract Essence, La Mer The Moisturizing Soft Cream, Atelier Cologne Santal Carmin Pure Perfume, Tatcha The Silk Cream, and SK-II R.N.A. Power Eye Cream.
I also redeemed some of my Beauty Insider Points to get this amazing Makeup Forever set.
It came with deluxe samples of the Step 1 Skin Equalizer, Aqua XL Color paint in I-50, Excessive Lash Black Mascara, Artist Rouge Mat Lipstick in M500, and the Ultra HD Loose Powder. I mainly got this set because of the Aqua XL Paint. I’ve been dying to try these since they came out but didn’t want to splurge for the full size without knowing if I liked it or not.
I’m excited to try all these samples! I’m hoping I don’t fall in love with any of the luxury items but let’s be honest, I probably will. 😜

I’ve tried the Aqua XL colour paint and love it, but honestly thinks it works better if you use your fingers to apply. I might jus have to get the set to try that shade thought!

Yes! I used my fingers and loved the way it turned out and lasted throughout the day. I’ll definitely be getting some other colors!
