Summer Faves 2017

Hello everyone!

Happy First Day of Autumn!

Since Fall is finally here, I thought I’d celebrate with a Summer Faves post. Now that summer is over, I’ve had the chance to evaluate the products I used the most over the past few months.

So let’s just jump right in so I can get to the PSL that’s waiting for me at the end of this post!

  • Arbonne Makeup Primer

It’s been a while since I announced that I’m an Arbonne Independent Consultant and this is one of the first makeup products I’ve showcased in a favorites post. This is Arbonne’s Makeup Primer. As someone who has oily-combination skin, my T-zone tends to be on the oily side while my cheeks tend to be on the drier side. This primer works amazingly on both portions of my face. It’s extremely smooth and glides on effortlessly, creating a perfect base for foundation. It doesn’t do as good of a job at filling in my pores as other primers that are specifically designed to but it works well enough on my skin for me to use it all summer and for it to make it into my summer faves.

If anyone would like to try out or purchase this product or any other Arbonne product, feel free to contact me. 😊

  • Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Eye Shadow Palette

This is an obvious one. This palette is one of the best things I’ve purchased all year. Morphe and Jaclyn Hill did an amazing job creating this palette! To see my complete rundown of this palette, check out my post about it.

  • Loreal Lash Paradise Mascara

I’m in love with this mascara! I’ve been using it every day since I opened it. It makes my lashes look so good, almost like I’m wearing falsies! I also reviewed this mascara so if you’d like to see some before and after pics, check out my post.

  • Milani Contour & Highlight Duo

One thing I’m thankful for about starting this blog is getting the chance to explore new products I probably wouldn’t have gone out and purchased on my own. This is an example of a product I decided to get specifically to try for a blog post and I ended up loving it! I hadn’t tried cream contour before and had a great experience with this duo.

  • Milani Make It Last Setting Spray

I reviewed this product when I reviewed the Contour & Highlight Duo. You can read more of why I thought by following this link. Long story short, prior to trying this product, no other setting spray lived up to my favorite, the Skindinavia Oil Control Setting Spray. The Milani setting spray works just a well as the Skindinavia one to keep my makeup put all day and I’ve been using it all summer.

  • Grande Lips in Spicy Mauve

So this is one of those products that I use but not for its full intended purpose. It’s marketed as a hydrating lip plumper but I specifically love it for its moisturization power! My lips get really chapped anytime the weather changes. Hot to cold, cold to hot, it doesn’t matter. I’ve tried so many lip balms that somehow seem to make my lips drier. Other than the Arbonne Shea Butter Moisturizing Lip Balm, this hydrating lip plumper has completely changed my lip hydrating game! I first discovered this product, in the clear shade, from a Sephora Play! box in the springtime. Once I went through a full-size tube of clear and still loved it, I decided to try one of the colors. I chose this nude pink because I wasn’t sure how the colored gloss would perform. So far, it works amazingly! It still has the same hydrating properties and the color doesn’t bleed whatsoever.

What products did you use most this summer? What are you looking forward to this fall?

Until next time,
