Like most people are saying, I can not believe it’s already April. At the end of last year, I had a life-changing realization that as I get older, time seems to pass so much faster. As a kid, I remember waiting and waiting and waiting for Christmas or my birthday to come each year and it felt like I was waiting forever! Now I’m surprised by the arrival by those days.
Moving past that, this week I’m sharing my March Faves! I have a few new products as well as products I rediscovered this month so let’s jump right in!
Earlier in the month, I ran out of my all time, ride or die, favorite primer, the Benefit Porefessional. So, during a late night trip to Walgreens, with desperate intent to find a replacement for the next day, I decided to purchase this one. It had great reviews so I was excited to see if it would work on my skin too. Obviously, it did since it made it into my March Faves! I apply this to my T-zone to help keep the oils from breaking down my makeup throughout the day and it works amazingly!
This was a rediscovery for me this month. After running out of my Maybelline Master Conceal Camouflaging Concealer, I decided to go back to the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer. I had used a couple tubes in the past but for some reason, despite being matched in the store both times, wasn’t completely pleased with the shade I was given (NW20). However, I used it anyway and made it work. After going through two tubes of this concealer I had decided that the main tone was right but the undertone was too pink/ peach and moved onto other concealers.
This past month I decided to look into the meaning of the NW and NC naming because I always thought, and it seems like the MAC employees thought, NW was for warm skin tones and NC was for cool skin tones. I mean come on, they have corresponding letters! According to many blogs and websites, however, the names are actually the opposite of what you’d think they stand for. With that in mind, I decided to order NC20 instead. I was completely surprised that it’s a perfect match! It blends right into my skin and is pretty much undetectable. I now use it every day whether I’m going full glam or a “No-Makeup” makeup.
This is a product I would’ve never purchased on my own because I haven’t had the best luck with cream or stick blushes. I received this product in one of the monthly boxes I subscribe to. I was pleasantly surprised by this product. I tend to use this on days where I’m going for a “No-Makeup” makeup look. It blends out so easily and gives a lovely “lit from within” flush. Since it is an illuminating stick, this blush shade does have golden shimmer throughout which attributes to the glow it provides.
This is a no-brainer because this is an amazing drugstore highlight! I just wasn’t able to get my hands on it until last month. I recently reviewed this product if you’d like to know what my first impressions were.
I’m getting ready to move and as I was going through my vanity, I rediscovered this eyeshadow. It’s gorgeous and gives the perfect highlight to the inner corner! I also love how it looks all over the lid to bring brightness to my eyes – especially when I’m wearing my glasses.

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara
In case you missed it, I also recently reviewed this product. To give a brief summary, I was extremely impressed by this mascara and it definitely has a permanent spot in my rotation of mascaras.

Urban Decay Matte Revolution Lipstick in 1993
As a ’93 baby, I couldn’t pass up on this lipstick. To be 100% honest, I only purchased it because of the name. Once I got it and tried it on, I fell in love with the color. It’s the perfect pinky brown nude without being too dark or too light for my skin tone. Unfortunately, since purchasing this lipstick, Urban Decay has reformulated and repacked all their lipsticks under the Vice Lipstick line. I haven’t tried the new formulation yet but hopefully, they didn’t change too much.
I hope you enjoyed reading about my March Faves!
Until next time,
